Proteus 8 is very helpful especially to students who are learning how to create circuitry designs. It helps them create schematic captures, develop circuit designs, and simulate them. Its user interface adds more help because of its simplicity and ease of use. Most importantly, its modules, ARES, ISIS, and VSM, are combined to make it a powerful circuit design app. Proteus 8’s modules are not difficult to understand. Though easy, they provide powerful functions for Proteus 8 users. ARES, or Advanced Routing and Editing Software, enables users to route, locate and edit printed circuit board components. It is a 3D viewer that allows users to preview a circuit board before it comes to real life. It also provides a way to edit the surface layer of a circuit board. ISIS on the other hand, is Intelligent Schematic Input System. It is a simple interface that enables users to add in various components on the plane of a circuit board. VMS meanwhile, is Virtual System Modeling and it is the simulation module of Proteus 8.

Users can capture schematic designs, develop PCBs, and simulate microprocessors. Many of its users love how it simplifies all these tasks with its user-friendly interface. Along with this, it features a number of combined modules that offers diverse services. In addition, to make it more powerful, it combined ISIS schematic capture and ARES PCB layout. ISIS, or the Intelligent Schematic Input System, is a module that has numerous features and that can be controlled through its simple user interface (UI).
